Leading manufacturer of technical adhesive tapes and self-adhesive system solutions Tesa has added two world premier products launch to its wide portfolio of product offerings at the Label Expo Europe 2017.
Speaking to Packaging MEA at the show earlier today, Marco Nieter, International Product Manager at Tesa SE said, “Participating at the Labelexpo Europe 2017 is the perfect opportunity to reach a larger audience in our area of business. Our latest innovations in plate mounting tapes are being presented as the perfect solution for the demands on increasing efficiency in flexographic label printing.”
The two new products launched at the show are: Softprint Purple “Medium” and Green “Hard” foam hardness plate mounting tapes for label printing.
Nieter added, “We are introducing our purple “Medium” foam hardness after extensive tests at various printing plants. The goal was to demonstrate that a print design featuring a combination of solids, screens, and line work could be printed with only one foam hardness without sacrificing the essence of print quality.
After the trials, results showed that complexity, waste, and time could be reduced and that the streamlined processes could result in an overall cost reduction. So to cater for all different customers requirements and individual process needs, three different adhesive lines are available for each of our foam hardness categories.”
Tesa also provides complementary products for flexographic printing. These include roller wrapping, flying splice for film materials, zero-speed splice, edge sealing, failure flagging, end-tabbing, core starting and supportive tools.
