Agthia Group PJSC (“Agthia” or “the Group”), a leading food and beverage company in the region, has acquired a 100% stake in Riviere Mineral Water Desalination & Filling Factory LLC (“Riviere”), one of the UAE’s largest bottled water home and office services (HOS) providers. This strategic acquisition, approved by Agthia’s Board of Directors, is set to triple the Group’s household customer base and expand its Water & Food Segment by approximately 6.5%, reinforcing its market leadership in the UAE’s water sector.
Riviere, established in 2003, operates three bottling facilities in Abu Dhabi and Dubai and maintains a fleet of over 160 delivery trucks. It employs more than 780 personnel across production, logistics, and customer service, serving customers in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Dubai, and Sharjah. The acquisition will provide Agthia with additional production capacity to meet the growing demand for home water services in the UAE, supporting long-term growth and operational efficiency.

Agthia’s acquisition of Riviere is subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals.
