Abu Dhabi, UAE – Al Ain Farms Group has entered a three-year agreement with Al Dahra Group to secure a steady supply of raw milk sourced from Al Ain, marking a strategic move to reinforce domestic dairy supply and support the UAE’s broader food security objectives.
The agreement was formalized during Global Food Week in Abu Dhabi. Under its terms, Al Dahra’s dairy farms will supply raw milk directly to Al Ain Farms’ processing facilities. This move is intended to bolster the “farm-to-shelf” model that ensures fresh dairy products are distributed across the UAE within 24 hours of processing.
“This partnership allows us to guarantee a consistent supply of high-quality raw milk for our operations, including Marmum Dairy,” said Hassan Safi, Group CEO of Al Ain Farms. “It reinforces our commitment to local sourcing, strengthens supply chain resilience, and ensures that families in the UAE continue to enjoy fresh, wholesome products every day.”
The collaboration is expected to improve product traceability and reduce transportation times, which in turn supports packaging efficiency and cold-chain reliability. This localized approach also enables more sustainable packaging practices by minimizing environmental impact.
Arnoud van den Berg, Group CEO of Al Dahra Group, called the partnership “a milestone in the evolution of the UAE’s dairy sector.” He added, “Collaborating with Al Ain Farms at Global Food Week reflects our shared commitment to advancing local production capabilities and supporting the UAE’s long-term food self-sufficiency goals.”
Al Ain Farms’ operations span dairy, juice, poultry, and eggs under brands including Marmum Dairy and Golden Eggs. Al Dahra manages agricultural production across more than 100,000 hectares globally, supplying feed and food commodities to international markets.
The partnership reflects a coordinated push toward greater local integration and sustainable food production in the UAE.
