Ardagh Glass Packaging-Europe (AGP-Europe), part of Ardagh Group, has collaborated with The Absolut Company International to manufacture the latest Absolut artist-edition bottle, Absolut Haring. The bottle design is based on artist Keith Haring’s 1986 interpretation of the Absolut vodka bottle.
The special-edition bottle was developed in partnership with design agency Pearlfisher and produced exclusively at AGP-Europe’s manufacturing facility in Limmared, Sweden.
The glass packaging features detailed design elements, including debossed dancing figures, which replicate Haring’s signature artistic style. A screen-printed yellow panel has been applied to one side of the bottle, and when viewed through the clear glass, it creates the optical effect of an entirely yellow bottle.
“The Absolut Haring artist-edition bottle perfectly demonstrates how design, technology and art can come together in glass,” said John Oczabruk, Product Designer, Ardagh Glass Packaging-Europe. “Reproducing Keith Haring’s artwork through debossing demanded extreme accuracy, to maintain uniform depth and width around the bottle. Aligning the debossing precisely with the screen printing ensured a flawless, visually stunning result.”
Each bottle contains more than 60% recycled glass cullet. According to both companies, the use of recycled materials is part of their efforts to reduce environmental impact.
The Absolut Haring bottle was first released exclusively in the travel retail segment before being distributed in global markets starting in September 2025. The launch continues The Absolut Company International’s series of artist collaborations, which highlight its long-standing connection to contemporary art and its legacy of partnering with artists to reinterpret the brand visually.
The production reflects a combination of glass manufacturing capabilities and precision design execution.
