Robotic PPCP injection moulding lines installed at Balmer Lawrie UAE’s manufacturing facility to increase production capacity and improve process efficiency.
Balmer Lawrie UAE LLC has commissioned three high-capacity polypropylene copolymer (PPCP) robotic injection moulding production lines at its manufacturing facility in the United Arab Emirates, expanding its capabilities in plastics processing and packaging component manufacturing.
The new installations were inaugurated in early February during a ceremony attended by His Highness Sheikh Hasher bin Maktoum Al Maktoum, Chairman of BL UAE, and Adhip Nath Palchaudhari, Chairman and Managing Director of Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd. and Vice Chairman of BL UAE. The event was also attended by representatives from the China–UAE Chamber of Commerce and a senior delegation from Yizumi, the injection moulding technology provider.
According to the company, the automated production lines are designed to increase manufacturing capacity while improving precision and process efficiency in the production of plastic packaging components and industrial products.
The integration of robotic systems is expected to enhance process consistency, reduce manual handling, and improve production stability across the facility’s injection moulding operations.
Balmer Lawrie stated that the investment forms part of its strategy to strengthen regional manufacturing capabilities and respond to increasing demand for plastics and packaging components in Middle Eastern and international markets.
The expansion reflects broader industry trends toward automation and high-performance injection moulding technologies in plastics processing, where manufacturers are increasingly adopting advanced systems to improve quality control, production speed, and operational reliability.
With the commissioning of the new PPCP robotic lines, Balmer Lawrie UAE aims to further strengthen its position within the regional plastics and packaging supply chain while supporting customers with expanded manufacturing capacity and improved operational performance across its injection moulding operations.
