Baumer hhs launches CorrBox Solution evo for high-volume corrugated packaging production

Baumer hhs has announced the launch of its CorrBox Solution evo, a new system designed to improve adhesive application and quality control for high-volume production in the corrugated packaging industry. The release follows extensive field testing under real-world conditions and is now available for order as of 1 October 2025.

Developed specifically for the CorrBox Solution evo, the CS 1000 sensor reliably detects every strip of glue even at maximum machine speeds. It works with blue light on brown corrugated board.

The CorrBox Solution evo is part of a new modular product line that also includes the CorrBox Solution go and pro models, each targeting specific market segments. The evo model is geared toward high-volume operations where precision and cost-efficiency are key. It is available in one- or two-sided configurations and can be combined with an Inverto unit for top or bottom adhesive application.

On white corrugated, the CS 1000 detects blue-coloured adhesive with the help of red light.

Central to the evo system is the PX 1000 multi-application head, known for its high closing force and reliable start-up performance. Supported by Baumer hhs’s KPE 6 and KPE 9 adhesive pumps, it ensures accurate adhesive application from the first product onward.

The CorrBox Solution evo also features the newly developed CS 1000 sensor, which monitors each strip of glue applied. Designed for contrast-based detection, it works effectively across a range of corrugated materials commonly used in folding box production.

The system includes the Xtend3 controller, offering streamlined, intuitive operation, and integrates Glue Save Mode, a stitching technology that can reduce adhesive use by up to 50% while maintaining or improving box strength.

“Our new and modular CorrBox Solution product family gives customers in the corrugated industry all the options they need to tailor gluing and quality assurance to their FFG applications,” said Thomas Walther, Head of Corporate Strategy & Innovation at Baumer hhs.

The CorrBox Solution evo is now commercially available.
