DTM Print has announced the launch of its latest product, the CLP2200e Colour Label Printer, aimed at professional users requiring flexible and durable label printing solutions. The new device, introduced from the company’s Wiesbaden headquarters on January 15, 2026, is designed for easy system integration and consistent performance in industrial environments.

One of the printer’s central features is its compatibility with multiple ink configurations. The CLP2200e supports dye-based, pigment-based, or mixed ink use—such as dye-based colour inks combined with pigment black—offering users the ability to prioritise either vibrant print quality or long-lasting durability depending on application needs.

The CLP2200e is equipped with individual cartridges for cyan, magenta, yellow, and black, as well as a user-replaceable printhead. This approach, previously implemented in the LX2000e model, allows users to manage ink consumption and maintenance according to specific production demands, while also maintaining cost efficiency.

Built for industrial use, the printer comes in a compact metal housing suitable for integration into production lines or space-constrained work areas. Connectivity options include USB 2.0, Ethernet, and a 24V PLC interface for incorporation into automated systems.

The printer features a flat label feed path for reliable media handling and modular access points for cleaning and servicing. An external label supply feed supports larger roll diameters to enhance productivity. Operational control is managed through the DTM CLP2200e Toolbox software and an integrated display.

“We’re glad that true black is back at DTM Print,” said Lea König, Product Manager at DTM Print, highlighting the printer’s ink flexibility and print width of 210 mm.

The printer is priced at €3,595 and will be available in February 2026 through DTM Print and its authorised partners across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. A three-year warranty is offered within the EU, UK, and EFTA regions upon product registration.
