Enviroserve UAE, a provider of e-waste recycling and resource recovery solutions in the Middle East, has appointed Mahmood Rasheed as its Chief Executive Officer as it enters the next phase of its corporate development.
Rasheed joins Enviroserve following a 30-year career in environmental and facilities services, most recently as Group Chief Operating Officer at Imdaad, a Dubai-based integrated services company. In that role, he contributed to scaling Imdaad’s environmental, facility management and specialised services businesses, supporting growth to annual revenues of around AED 1 billion and extending its footprint across GCC markets.
In his new position, Rasheed will be responsible for advancing Enviroserve’s operational performance and broadening its role in certified e-waste circularity and secure resource recovery, the company said. He will work closely with major shareholders Tadweer Group and Dubal Holding to align the company’s strategy with national sustainability objectives and global environmental, social and governance standards.
A key focus under Rasheed’s leadership will be the deployment of advanced automated processes to improve traceability, transparency and compliance across Enviroserve’s operations. The company noted that enhanced real-time data tracking and automation are expected to support stronger audit readiness and regulatory adherence, particularly in areas of certified recycling and secure data destruction that are critical to clients in the e-waste sector.
Commenting on his appointment, Rasheed said, “At Enviroserve, sustainability must be translated into measurable impact.” He added that working with Tadweer Group and Dubal Holding will help the company move “beyond conventional recycling models, strengthening circular systems that recover value, protect the environment, and support a resilient digital economy.”
Rasheed holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental science from the United States and an MBA from the United Kingdom. He is also a certified ISO 14001 Lead Auditor and a graduate of the Dubai Leadership Program at the Wharton School, combining technical expertise with recognised leadership training.
