Fi Africa and ProPak MENA 2025 Spotlight Industrial Growth and Packaging Innovation in Egypt

Fi Africa and ProPak MENA 2025 to explore advancements in food and packaging sectors.

The 13th edition of Fi Africa and ProPak MENA is set to take place from June 2–4, 2025, at the Egypt International Exhibition Center, with support from the Ministries of Trade & Industry and Environment. As Egypt’s food market saw a 35% growth in 2024 and is projected to reach USD 125.4 billion by 2028, the event comes at a crucial time for industrial and export development.

This year’s edition is the largest to date, featuring over 400 exhibitors from Egypt, the Middle East, Asia, and Europe, and expecting more than 16,000 professional visitors. The event is backed by international and regional institutions including UNIDO, the World Packaging Organization (WPO), and Egypt’s Chamber of Printing and Packaging Industries.

“Egypt’s strategic location, a packaging industry valued at USD 4.8 billion, and 17,000+ food manufacturing companies position it as a key regional player,” said Mostapha Khalil, Group Director at Informa Markets Egypt.

The event’s agenda includes a roundtable on food waste and food security, panel discussions on value chains, and specialized training in gelato and baking.

“Egypt’s selection as the regional arm for these exhibitions supports new market access, sustainability goals, and export readiness,” added Mohamed Abdel Hamid, Exhibition Director.

Fi and ProPak are part of global event series held in 11 and 6 countries respectively.
