Fujifilm Launches Jet Press 1160CF to Strengthen EMEA Inkjet Portfolio

Fujifilm introduces the Jet Press 1160CF to the EMEA market, broadening its continuous feed inkjet press portfolio.

Fujifilm is set to introduce the Jet Press 1160CF continuous feed inkjet press to the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, adding to its existing Jet Press 1160 line-up. The new model complements the Jet Press 1160CFG, unveiled at drupa 2024, and targets a wide range of commercial print applications including direct mail, books, journals, manuals, transaction, and transpromo printing.

Already established in the Asia Pacific market, where Fujifilm holds the leading market share with over 200 continuous feed inkjet installations, the Jet Press 1160CF combines high productivity with consistent print quality. The press uses a specialised ink formulation that supports printing on both uncoated and matt coated stocks, maintaining quality without additional pre-treatment.

Its compact footprint and low energy consumption aim to address space and operational cost constraints, while integration with downstream finishing equipment offers further automation potential.

The Jet Press 1160CFG, an enhanced configuration of the CF model, incorporates Fujifilm’s paper stabiliser technology for improved performance on standard offset stocks. This makes it well-suited for high-quality commercial print, book and magazine production.

To mark the EMEA launch, Fujifilm will host Discover the High Speed Inkjet Difference, a live online event on 9–10 July 2025. Broadcast from Japan, the programme will include demonstrations of both presses, new robotic and software solutions within Fujifilm’s Future Edge Smart Factory, and insights from technical and business specialists. Existing users from the Asia Pacific region will also share operational experiences.

Mark Stephenson, Business Development Manager, Fujifilm Europe, said: “We’re thrilled to finally bring a wider range of Jet Press 1160 solutions to customers across our region. Whether you’re printing books, journals or high-impact direct mail, these presses are designed to deliver value from day one.”
