Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (HEIDELBERG) and Gallus are set to debut two new machine solutions at Labelexpo Europe 2025 in Barcelona (Booth 3E23-3E29), focusing on digital label production and system integration to meet growing market demands.
With the digital label printing market projected to exceed $20 billion in the next decade, both companies aim to address challenges such as shorter production runs, faster turnaround times, and evolving customer expectations. The new solutions are designed to improve scalability, agility, and responsiveness for label converters across all market segments.
This year’s Labelexpo Europe will see HEIDELBERG and Gallus bring brand new solutions to the growing label market to address key customer challenges.
“As a total solution provider and systems integrator of both digital and conventional solutions, we are ideally positioned to address evolving market trends,” said Dr. David Schmedding, Chief Technology & Sales Officer at HEIDELBERG.
HEIDELBERG will also showcase its sheetfed offset solutions for wet glue and in-mold labels, alongside its Prinect workflow, Gallus Screeny, Gallus Services, and Gallus Classics offerings. A key feature of the joint showcase is Gallus’ System to Compose modular platform, which integrates with both proprietary and third-party technologies.
Dario Urbinati, CEO of Gallus Group, emphasized the importance of industry collaboration: “Labelexpo has always been an inspiring world stage where innovation and collaboration come together. Success in this industry requires collaboration across the value chain.”
The showcase builds on recent innovations, including the Gallus MatteJet technology introduced earlier this year for in-line digital labels with a matte finish.
The joint presentation reflects the companies’ commitment to advancing digital adoption and supporting long-term industry transformation.
