Hotpack Global has been named Sustainable Business of the Year – Middle East (FMCG Sector) at the Sustainability 2040 Awards, recognising the company’s sustainability initiatives and reporting practices. The award places the UAE-based packaging manufacturer among organisations contributing to long-term environmental and social goals aligned with regional sustainability frameworks.
According to the company’s publicly shared sustainability disclosures, Hotpack has focused on reducing environmental impact across its operations and product portfolio. The group reports that a significant majority of its packaging range is recyclable or designed with environmental considerations, reflecting ongoing efforts to respond to regulatory changes and customer demand for more sustainable packaging formats.
The recognition also follows Hotpack’s publication of a sustainability report outlining its approach to emissions management, responsible sourcing, and operational efficiency across manufacturing sites in the Middle East and other markets. The report highlights initiatives related to energy use, waste reduction, and supply chain responsibility, alongside governance and labour-related practices.
Hotpack operates multiple production facilities and supplies packaging solutions primarily to the foodservice and FMCG sectors. Its activities include the manufacture of paper, plastic, aluminium, and biodegradable packaging products for regional and international customers.
The Sustainability 2040 Awards programme evaluates companies across sectors based on sustainability performance indicators, including environmental impact, transparency, and alignment with future-focused sustainability objectives. Hotpack’s selection in the FMCG category reflects progress in integrating sustainability considerations into business operations.
The award adds to sustainability-related recognitions within the regional packaging sector, as manufacturers respond to national net-zero targets and evolving expectations across markets.
