Hotpack Global, the UAE-based packaging manufacturer, has announced a $100 million investment to set up its first US manufacturing and distribution facility in Edison, New Jersey. The state-of-the-art plant, covering 70,000 square feet, is expected to begin operations in June 2025, creating 200 jobs over the next five years.

New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, who was in Dubai as part of the New Jersey economic mission to the Gulf, welcomed the announcement, stating, “Hotpack’s decision to expand its presence in New Jersey is a powerful endorsement of our state’s strategic location, skilled workforce, and robust infrastructure.”

The facility will focus on producing customised cups, containers, and clamshells made from plastic and paper. The project aligns with Hotpack’s broader strategy for international growth, including recent investments in Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, and India.
