Ishida presented its ACP-700 case packer to the Middle East market during Gulfood Manufacturing 2025, where the system was demonstrated as part of a complete snack-packaging line. The exhibition marked the ACP-700’s first regional appearance, with visitors observing the compact machine’s integrated approach to end-of-line packing.
The ACP-700 brings bag infeed, orientation, case erection, loading and closing into a single unit, aimed at manufacturers seeking to simplify operations and reduce reliance on manual labour. During the show, Ishida highlighted the system’s suitability for snack producers facing pressure to increase throughput while managing frequent SKU changes and limited floor space.
The machine is capable of handling up to 20 cases per minute and supports packing speeds of up to 150 bags per minute. It accommodates multiple bag formats—including pillow, side-gusseted, flat-bottom and HEM-sealed bags—with bag widths between 108mm and 330mm and lengths from 120mm to 400mm. Case sizes range from 300mm to 400mm in width, 400mm to 600mm in length and 125mm to 375mm in height.
The ACP-700 can arrange up to 15 rows and three layers per case, offering options such as tape sealing or mechanical locking depending on case style. Up to 500 preset formats can be stored, enabling changeovers in under three minutes. The machine’s touchscreen interface supports quick selection of production formats and aims to minimise setup errors.
Ishida also underlined its engineering presence in Dubai, Jordan, Egypt and Turkey, providing local installation and service support for regional customers. At the exhibition, the ACP-700 was shown alongside weighing, bagmaking, seal-testing, inspection and monitoring technologies, illustrating a complete integrated line approach targeted at the Middle East’s growing snack-production sector.
