Koenig & Bauer Kyana has officially launched its new digital platform, Auraveo, at DMEXCO 2025 in Cologne. Designed to transform traditional packaging into interactive brand communication tools, the platform enables direct consumer engagement through digital content linked to physical packaging.
Auraveo was first introduced as a proof of concept at drupa 2024. With its official market entry at DMEXCO, Koenig & Bauer Kyana aims to support brands in meeting growing expectations around personalisation, transparency, and interactivity. The platform bridges the gap between analogue packaging and digital engagement by using technologies such as augmented reality and artificial intelligence.
“With AURAVEO, we are defining a new era of consumer engagement, enabling brands to create powerful, direct connections and dynamic digital experiences,” said Sandra Wagner, CEO of Auraveo by Koenig & Bauer Kyana.
Each interaction with packaging powered by Auraveo can generate consumer data, offering insights into preferences, behaviour, and product usage. This allows brands to refine their marketing strategies and personalise content in real time. The platform is designed to improve return on investment by enabling precise targeting and campaign segmentation.
As Koenig & Bauer’s dedicated digital unit, Kyana supports both brand-oriented tools like Auraveo and machine-specific solutions for print and packaging operations. With this dual focus, the company is extending its capabilities beyond printing machinery into brand and consumer engagement technologies.
Auraveo also offers flexibility to update content dynamically, even after the product has reached retail shelves. This feature is positioned as a shift from static packaging to adaptable digital communication.
By officially launching Auraveo at DMEXCO, Koenig & Bauer Kyana signals its intention to scale its digital portfolio and respond to increasing market demand for interactive and data-driven packaging solutions.
