MCC strengthens environmental and social performance across its global label operations

Multi-Color Corporation (MCC), has strengthened its sustainability governance, internal policies, and reporting systems across its international operations as part of wider efforts to improve environmental and social performance within its business and supply chain.

The company has implemented measures aimed at improving transparency, strengthening operational oversight, and integrating sustainability considerations into management and procurement processes. These initiatives focus on monitoring environmental impact, reinforcing ethical standards, and improving responsible sourcing practices across its global manufacturing network.

MCC stated that its sustainability efforts have included improvements in reporting structures and internal evaluation systems designed to provide clearer data on environmental performance, labour practices, and supply chain accountability. Such systems are increasingly important for companies supplying packaging materials and label solutions to multinational consumer goods brands.

EcoVadis recently awarded MCC a Silver Medal, placing the company among the top 15% of more than 130,000 organisations evaluated globally by the sustainability assessment platform.

Industry observers note that independent sustainability assessments are increasingly used by global brand owners and procurement teams to evaluate supplier performance and compliance with environmental, social, and governance expectations. Packaging converters and label manufacturers are therefore investing more heavily in governance frameworks, operational transparency, and sustainability reporting systems.

Hassan Rmaile, Chief Executive Officer of Multi-Color Corporation, said the result reflects the company’s continued efforts to strengthen environmental stewardship, improve social responsibility practices, and maintain ethical standards throughout its operations and supply chain partnerships.

The developments illustrate how sustainability management and structured reporting are becoming integral to packaging suppliers working within global consumer goods supply networks.
