SADAFCO introduces Tetra Pak E3 Speed Hyper line to boost efficiency and sustainability

The new filling line enhances high-volume packaging while reducing environmental impact.

Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff Company (SADAFCO) has signed an agreement with Tetra Pak to install the E3/Speed Hyper line in Saudi Arabia, marking a key development in its manufacturing operations and long-standing partnership with the packaging solutions provider.

The E3/Speed Hyper is currently the fastest filling machine in aseptic carton manufacturing, capable of producing up to 40,000 portion packages per hour. The technology is designed for high-volume output, particularly for small-format packs, and features eBeam sterilization, which reduces the use of water, energy, and hydrogen peroxide.

This installation aligns with SADAFCO’s broader strategy to enhance operational efficiency and address increasing demand in urban markets. It also supports the company’s sustainability goals by cutting resource consumption compared to traditional filling lines.

The agreement was signed by Patrick Stillhart, CEO of SADAFCO, and Konstantin Kolesnik, Managing Director of Tetra Pak Arabia Area.

Patrick Stillhart commented: “At SADAFCO, we continue to invest in advanced technologies that enhance efficiency, ensure the highest quality for our consumers, and reduce our environmental footprint. The deployment of the Tetra Pak® E3/Speed Hyper line represents an important step in strengthening our Saudia Milk portfolio and advancing our sustainability commitments.”

Konstantin Kolesnik added: “This deployment marks a bold step forward in our shared commitment to innovation and sustainability. The E3/Speed Hyper line is not just the fastest in its class—it’s a game-changer that empowers partners like SADAFCO to scale efficiently, reduce environmental impact, and deliver high-quality products that meet the evolving needs of consumers across the Kingdom.” The companies have collaborated for over four decades.
