Sandon Global has appointed Dr Vishal Kharka as Process Technical Manager and Dr Muhammad Yasir Adnan as Business Systems Manager to lead its digital transformation initiatives. The appointments follow the successful completion of Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) projects with The University of Manchester and Innovate UK.
Dr Kharka, who joined the company in 2023, will oversee automation and data-driven improvements in manufacturing. “Digitising the shopfloor will enhance efficiency and make a real difference in manufacturing,” he said.
Dr Adnan, who has been with Sandon Global since 2022, will focus on implementing AI, machine learning, and IoT technologies. “By harnessing real-time data, we can predict maintenance needs, minimise downtime, and elevate product quality,” he commented.
