Sidel has introduced the EvoFILL Can Compact, a new can-filling solution tailored for low-to-medium-speed production lines in the beverage industry. The system, designed to serve the growing needs of beer and carbonated soft drink manufacturers, delivers speeds of up to 40,000 cans per hour while maintaining a compact footprint.
Amid rising global demand for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages—expected to reach 492.1 billion and 1.3 trillion packaged units respectively by 2028—producers are seeking systems that balance efficiency with flexibility. The EvoFILL Can Compact addresses this by supporting both carbonated and hot fill beverages and accommodating fast product changeovers.
“EvoFILL Can Compact extends the range of the well-known EvoFILL Can, offering a highly compact and efficient solution that meets the demands of low volume premium beverages market,” said Tommaso Tegoni, Product Manager – Filling at Sidel.
Engineered as a ‘plug and play’ system, the EvoFILL Can Compact merges the filler, seamer, and process unit into a single block, reducing space requirements and simplifying installation. It uses electropneumatic valves with magnetic flowmeters for accurate liquid dosing—achieving a ±1ml deviation and less than 0.1% product loss in a 500ml format.
Further, the machine enables ambient filling with CO₂ losses of ≤0.2 Vol, maintains 98.5% monoblock efficiency, and requires less than 25 minutes for format changeovers. Built-in HEPA filters and automatic dummy caps support hygiene and ease of maintenance.
Designed for reliability, adaptability, and precision, the EvoFILL Can Compact aligns with industry trends prioritizing agility and space optimization.
