Siegwerk has announced the opening of a new office and warehouse facility in Dubai, expanding its footprint in the Middle East to meet increasing demand for sustainable packaging inks and coatings. The move is aimed at enhancing customer support and improving logistics across the region.
The facility includes a regional office and warehouse that will allow for shorter delivery times and more efficient service to clients. With packaging regulations tightening and sustainability requirements growing, the company says the new site will help address these evolving market demands more effectively.
“As demand for high-performance and sustainable packaging solutions continues to grow in the Middle East, we are excited to establish a stronger local presence through our new site in Dubai now,” said Stefan Rosenberg, Head of Sales, Business Unit Narrow Web at Siegwerk. “The investment allows us to be closer to our customers, provide faster and more flexible support, and offer solutions that help them meet ever-changing regulatory and sustainability requirements.”
Siegwerk’s expanded offering includes LED Dual Cure ink technologies such as SICURA Nutriflex LEDTec and SICURA Flex Dual Cure. These inks are compatible with both LED and UV arc lamps, and are developed for applications ranging from primary food and pharmaceutical packaging to standard label and sleeve production. According to Siegwerk, these technologies enable reduced energy consumption, lower CO₂ emissions, and improved recyclability, while complying with international standards such as the German Ink Ordinance.
Rosenberg added, “Our Dual Cure solutions are perfectly suited for the needs of packaging printers in the Middle East, where sustainability and compliance with international and local regulations are becoming increasingly important.”
The new Dubai facility represents a key milestone in Siegwerk’s global strategy to invest in growth markets and support the packaging industry’s shift toward more sustainable and compliant production methods.
