Tetra Pak has appointed Haithem Debbiche as Managing Director for the Maghreb and West Africa region, extending his current role in West Africa to also include Maghreb. The company confirmed the leadership change in an official statement.
Debbiche, who took on the West Africa leadership in 2024, now succeeds Laurent Rodier in overseeing the Maghreb. His responsibilities will include managing regional strategy and operations in alignment with Tetra Pak’s broader global agenda.
An alumnus of Paris-Sorbonne University, Debbiche has been with Tetra Pak for 22 years, holding several senior roles. He brings close to two decades of experience in the Maghreb region and a deep understanding of its market landscape.
“I appreciate the trust placed in me with this new responsibility and look forward to working closely again with our colleagues and partners in the Maghreb,” Debbiche said. “Both Maghreb and West Africa hold significant opportunity for development.”
He added that his focus will remain on advancing practical food solutions and supporting partners to respond to current and future consumer needs. “With the strength of our global capabilities and committed teams, we will continue building solutions that serve today’s consumers and anticipate tomorrow’s expectations,” he said.
