Vinsak Installs First Lombardi SMARTLINE Press in India at Print Panache

Vinsak and Print Panache unveil India’s first Lombardi SMARTLINE press installation in New Delhi.

Vinsak has marked a new milestone in Indian label printing with the launch of the country’s first Lombardi SMARTLINE press at Print Panache, expanding its portfolio of modular flexographic solutions tailored for high-precision label production. This follows the earlier success of the Lombardi I2 and Synchroline platforms in the region.

The SMARTLINE press offers a robust, servo-driven platform designed to produce high-quality pressure-sensitive labels on paper and film. Supporting web widths of up to 450 mm and printing widths of 430 mm, the system incorporates eight UV flexo printing stations, a die-cutting unit, and a range of rail-mounted modules including delam/relam, cold foil, and an air-assisted turn bar. Reduced maintenance requirements and minimal downtime are achieved through SMARTLINE’s gearless, belt-free mechatronic design.

“This marks our third Lombardi installation with Vinsak, and with each new addition, our trust in their technology and support continues to grow,” said Anuj Kumar Gupta, Partner at Print Panache. Shaswat and Raghav Bansal, also partners, added, “The SMARTLINE press will play a crucial role in enhancing our production capabilities and maintaining the high standards of quality we are known for.”

Massimo Lombardi, General Manager of Lombardi Converting Machinery, noted: “India has always been a key market with a special focus, and Print Panache, our key customer, consistently drives us to innovate.”

Serving over 1,200 clients and producing over a million labels and 500,000 cartons daily, Print Panache continues to invest in scalable, quality-driven technologies across sectors including food, pharma, personal care, and automotive.
