A B Graphic International (ABG) Celebrates the Sale of 2500 Vectra Turret Rewinders

ABG’s remarkable milestone of selling 2500 units of its Vectra turret rewinders

Leading finishing equipment manufacturer, A B Graphic International (ABG), has achieved a remarkable milestone by selling 2500 units of its Vectra turret rewinders. Notably, within the last three years alone, 500 rewinders have been installed. Since its inception in 1995, the Vectra series has garnered significant popularity among self-adhesive label manufacturers worldwide.

The Vectra turret rewinders from ABG come in three advanced models: the entry-level ECTR, the 4-spindle HDTR, and the SGTR Autoset. Developed through years of collaboration with customers to meet their specific requirements, these rewinders boast a thoroughly tested and proven design, engineering, and capability.

Offering unparalleled versatility, the Vectra turret rewinders allow seamless in-line or stand-alone operation with a separate unwind module. These servo-driven rewinders feature precise tension control, ensuring smooth and reliable operation across a wide range of substrates, including delicate, perforated, or punched products. ABG offers customizable options to tailor the Vectra rewinders to individual needs, providing a clear and competitive advantage for any business.

Currently manufactured at their Middleton on the Wolds site, ABG’s Vectra models are poised to relocate to a new state-of-the-art 40,000 sqft facility in Kelleythorpe, near their Bridlington headquarters. This strategic move will enable increased production capacity and shorter lead times. Coinciding with the relocation is the highly anticipated launch of a new Vectra model at Labelexpo Europe 2023. ABG will officially introduce the next generation of highly automated turret rewinders during the event. These cutting-edge models will be available in both hot melt glue (Vectra G) and glueless (Vectra) variants, further solidifying ABG’s position as a market leader in the most advanced turret rewinders globally.

Matt Burton, Global Sales Director at ABG, commented on the achievement, stating, “The installation of 2500 Vectra units signifies our global presence and the exceptional professional relationships we have built with key customers. We now eagerly look forward to the launch of our new Vectra models, which will provide our customers with enhanced operational efficiencies for the future.”

The success of ABG’s Vectra turret rewinders demonstrates the company’s commitment to providing innovative and efficient solutions to meet the evolving needs of the label and packaging industry. With their upcoming launch of cutting-edge models, ABG continues to solidify its position as a key player in the global finishing equipment market.
