Aptar Beauty launches fully plastic trigger spray pump for home care

TSP is Aptar Beauty’s all-plastic, recyclable spray pump designed for household cleaning applications.

Aptar Beauty has introduced TSP (Trigger Spray Pump), a new all-plastic trigger spray dispenser developed to serve the home care segment. Designed for recyclability and compatibility with various formulations, TSP addresses rising consumer expectations around convenience and environmental impact.

The global market for trigger sprayers continues to grow, particularly in the surface care and stain removal segments. Demand is being driven by expanding needs in emerging regions such as Asia and Latin America, where convenience and sustainability are gaining importance. Aptar’s launch of TSP is positioned in response to these trends.

“TSP is more than a trigger, it is a strategic addition to Aptar Beauty’s dispensing portfolio that reflects our commitment to performance and product recyclability,” said Luigi Garofalo, Global Category Director Personal Care & Home care at Aptar Beauty.

The TSP unit is manufactured entirely from polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE), including the internal spring. This material selection supports its compatibility with polyolefin recycling streams. The pump’s design ensures that the spring does not come into contact with the formula, allowing it to handle a broader range of cleaning agents, including corrosive products.

With a 1.2cc output, TSP is intended for home care applications such as surface cleaning and stain removal. It features soft actuation and a lightweight body for ease of use. Additional configuration options include multiple spray patterns (spray/stream, spray/foam), neck finishes, and safety features like child-resistant closures and clip locks.

The introduction of TSP expands Aptar Beauty’s offering in the home care space with a recyclable, non-metallic dispensing solution tailored for performance, user comfort, and compatibility.
