Asepto, the aseptic liquid packaging arm of UFlex Limited, has announced the establishment of a cutting-edge manufacturing facility in Egypt—an investment of USD 126 million that marks a significant milestone in its global expansion strategy. Scheduled to commence operations in 2025, the plant is positioned to become the most advanced of its kind globally.
Strategically located to serve Africa, Europe, CIS countries, the USA, Asia, and the Middle East, the facility will operate in two phases with an impressive annual capacity of 12 billion packs. This move is set to enhance Asepto’s supply chain efficiency and meet growing international demand for reliable and sustainable liquid packaging solutions.
Mr. Ashwani Kumar Sharma, President & CEO of UFlex’s Liquid Packaging Business, emphasized the scale and intent behind the project:
“When you handpick world-class engineering to build a truly advanced aseptic liquid plant, the feeling is incredible. We’re shaping the future of aseptic packaging—driven by investment-led sustainable solutions that make us incredibly proud.”
Described as more than just a capacity boost, the Egypt plant integrates advanced infrastructure and circular-economy technologies to offer true end-to-end aseptic solutions. According to Asepto, it represents a long-term commitment to innovation, sustainability, and scalable solutions for global brands.
“The future is being built—innovatively, sustainably, and at scale,” the company stated.
With aspirations to become the second-largest player in the global aseptic liquid packaging industry by 2028, Asepto’s expansion into Egypt signals a new chapter of growth—one grounded in precision engineering and future-ready packaging technologies.
