Bariq expands into Jeddah with new facility under Creative Recycling name

Bariq announces the expansion of Bariq into Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, operating under the name Creative Recycling. The new facility, called Creative Recycling World, marks the company’s first site in the Kingdom and is part of its broader strategy to grow its presence across the Gulf region.

The Jeddah facility will produce recycled polyethylene terephthalate (rPET) flakes and pellets. According to the company, it will operate using advanced recycling technologies and adhere to international quality standards. The initiative aims to support regional environmental goals by increasing local recycling capacity and contributing to a circular economy.

This step reflects Bariq’s commitment to responsible growth, long-term value creation, and positive community impact.

Bariq has not disclosed production or investment figures for the new site. However, the facility is expected to reduce logistics costs and delivery times for key customers across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. Its location in western Saudi Arabia positions it to meet rising demand for food-grade recycled materials.

The move aligns with broader trends in the recycling and packaging sectors, as companies expand operations to comply with regulatory frameworks and meet sustainability targets. It also supports Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 initiative, which emphasizes waste reduction and investment in green industries.

The Jeddah facility strengthens Bariq’s regional service capabilities while advancing environmental accountability.
