
Industry professionals gather to explore packaging innovation and sustainability.
BOBST hosted a two-day roadshow in Sousse, Tunisia, on 3 and 4 December 2025, to present recent developments in packaging technologies and sustainability practices. The event attracted over 150 attendees to the Sousse Pearl Marriott Resort & Spa Hotel, offering sector-focused sessions and insights from industry partners.
Day one of the program highlighted solutions for folding carton and corrugated packaging sectors. Day two shifted focus to label and flexible packaging converters. The agenda featured speakers from BOBST and its partners, including Baumer HHS, Esko, Kurz, Packitoo, Reifenhäuser, and Rossini.

Among the technologies presented, the new NOVAFFG flexo folder gluer was introduced for the paperboard industry. Designed for box making, it features an optimized layout and competitive price-performance ratio. The ETERNA converting equipment was also shown as a cost-effective solution for corrugated packaging.
For folding carton applications, BOBST presented its Zero Fault Packaging concept and the DIGITAL MASTER 55 All-in-One platform. Flexible packaging sessions focused on the modular VISION CI flexo press and NOVALAM 800 laminator. The MASTER M5 press was demonstrated for inline flexo label printing.
Additional topics included digitalization in gravure, coating and metallization advances, tooling performance, and financing options. Partner companies contributed insights into digital embellishment, AI-powered quoting, film extrusion, and sustainable equipment development, reinforcing collaboration across the supply chain.
