Italian label finishing equipment manufacturer CARTES has strengthened its presence in the Middle East following the installation of its laser converting technology at Dubai-based label converter AREN Graphic Solutions FZ-LLC.
The project, completed with the support of Wassim Khatib, CARTES’ agent in Dubai, represents another step in the company’s regional expansion as demand for advanced label converting technologies continues to grow across the Middle East.
AREN Graphic Solutions selected CARTES laser technology to enhance its label converting capabilities, with the system designed to deliver greater production flexibility, precision and operational efficiency for premium label applications. The investment is also expected to simplify converting workflows by reducing process complexity while enabling the production of high-value labels for customers in regional and international markets.
The installation supports AREN Graphic Solutions’ strategy to expand its production capabilities and strengthen its position in the label printing sector. Laser converting technology is increasingly being adopted by label converters to improve manufacturing flexibility, particularly for short runs, complex designs and value-added applications.
For CARTES, the project further reinforces its footprint in the Middle East, where converters continue to invest in advanced finishing technologies to improve productivity and meet evolving market requirements. The company supplies laser converting, embellishment and finishing solutions for the global label industry.
