Esko appoints Joël Depernet as New President

Esko, a global developer of integrated software and hardware solutions for the packaging industry, has announced the appointment of Joël Depernet as its new President. Joël, who previously served as the company’s Chief Technical Officer for more than three years, is set to lead Esko as it continues to innovate and evolve as a leading provider of packaging prepress solutions.

“I am thrilled to take on the role of President during this exciting time for Esko,” said Joël. “Having been part of Esko for many years, I am deeply honored to lead the company as we embark on this new chapter.”

Joël Depernet newly appointed as the President of Esko.

Joël’s career includes senior roles at Dassault Systemes, Cegedim, and Axway before joining Esko in March 2020. His appointment comes at a time when Esko is focused on delivering innovations that help customers connect systems and workflows, automate processes, and accelerate innovation to meet market challenges.

“At Esko, our goal is to develop solutions that enable every stakeholder within the packaging supply chain to work more efficiently,” said Joël. “With sustainability and digitalization transforming the industry, it is crucial that we bring solutions to market that help packaging companies reduce waste, boost efficiency, and improve productivity.”

Esko recently divested from its parent company Danaher to become part of Veralto, a publicly traded company composed of 13 operating companies. Joël’s leadership will be showcased at drupa 2024, where Esko will demonstrate its latest innovations at stand A12 in Hall 8B.

“I look forward to leading Esko as we focus on developing innovative solutions that deliver tangible results to our customers worldwide,” Joël added.

Joël Depernet will be present at drupa 2024, held at the Messe Düsseldorf from May 28, where attendees can explore the latest innovations from Esko, X-Rite, Pantone, and Enfocus.
