Flint Group Digital Xeikon partners with Xerox to expand digital press access

Flint Group Digital Xeikon has entered a strategic partnership with Xerox Holdings Corporation to expand the market reach of its digital printing technology through Xerox’s sales and service channels.

The agreement will allow Xerox to offer digital presses under its own brand using Xeikon technology. The companies are targeting printers working across production segments where demand is increasing for shorter runs, faster turnaround, versioned output and higher-value applications.

This partenership combines Xerox’s commercial reach and customer relationships with Xeikon’s digital press technology. Flint Group Digital Xeikon said the partnership is intended to make its equipment available to a broader section of the printing market and support printers seeking to establish or expand digital production capabilities.

“We are pleased to see Xerox bring our solutions to market through its channels,” said Walter Benz, president of Flint Group Digital Xeikon. Benz added that the printing industry was evolving rapidly and printers needed reliable digital technologies to improve responsiveness, productivity and application flexibility.

He said the agreement would make Xeikon’s technology accessible to more printers around the world, allowing them to respond to changing production and market requirements more effectively.

For Flint Group Digital Xeikon, the partnership provides an additional commercial channel for its press technology. For Xerox, it adds Xeikon-based digital presses to the equipment available through its established distribution and service network.

The companies expect the agreement to encourage wider adoption of digital print production across multiple market segments. However, the announcement did not identify which Xeikon technologies or press models Xerox will offer, where the equipment will initially become available, or when commercial sales will begin. No financial terms or specific sales targets were disclosed.
