Flint Group has announced a rebrand to Flint Group Packaging Solutions, reinforcing its strategic focus on the global packaging sector.
The company said the move reflects its transition towards a solutions-driven organisation serving packaging printers and brand owners across multiple segments, including flexible packaging, paper and board, narrow web, sheetfed offset, and digital printing.
Pepyn Dinandt said the packaging market is evolving across substrates, packaging formats, and coatings, particularly with increasing emphasis on recyclability and the replacement of complex packaging structures.
He stated that the company aims to support customers through innovation, sustainability, and service while addressing changing market and regulatory requirements.
Flint Group Packaging Solutions said its portfolio includes inks, coatings, digital print consumables, digital engines, and related services for packaging production. The company also confirmed that its DAY Transfer Media, Varn Chemicals, and Web Offset businesses will continue supporting customers in their respective segments.
The rebrand introduces a new logo and updated visual identity, reflecting the company’s long-term direction towards packaging applications and future growth through organic expansion and strategic acquisitions.
Dinandt added that while the company originated in publication printing, its future strategy is centred on integrated solutions for packaging markets. He said Flint Group Packaging Solutions intends to continue investing in technologies, coatings, services, and equipment for packaging production worldwide.
