Future of Corrugated Manufacturing Unveiled: BHS Corrugated Open House Event 2023

 

The BHS Corrugated Open House Event provided valuable insights into the future of the corrugated board industry and left attendees inspired by the possibilities that lie ahead.

 

BHS Corrugated organized an Open House Event in Münster and Greven on April 19, 2023, inviting around 80 representatives from the global corrugated board industry. The event aimed to provide customers with firsthand insight into the future strategy, Box Plant 2025.

 

According to Lars Engel, Managing Director of BHS Corrugated, “The Box Plant 2025 includes a complete portfolio of future-oriented solutions and services. The goal is to increase productivity and reduce costs across the entire corrugated board factory.”

 

During the event, attendees witnessed impressive demonstrations, including the world’s first digital printing machine, JETLINER®. The digital printing technology opens up new possibilities for individual and personalized packaging solutions.

 

Lars Engel addressed the significance of digital printing in the corrugated board industry, stating, “Digital printing has become increasingly important in recent years. It enables flexible and efficient packaging production.”

 

The Experience Hub provided a platform for presentations and discussions by BHS Corrugated’s business unit heads. Experts shared insights into the latest technological advancements, digital printing in corrugated board production, and lifecycle services.

 

Additionally, the event included a factory tour at Schumacher Packaging Group in Greven, offering an exclusive look behind the scenes at the BHS Corrugated digital printing system, JETLINER®, and the latest developments in corrugated equipment and intralogistics solutions.
