Glenroy Team Gains Expertise in Germany to Welcome New Press

As Glenroy, Inc., a Wisconsin-based company, prepares for the arrival of their first W&H press, they sent a team of eight members to Lengerich for intensive training. The investment in training aimed to provide the team with the best possible start on the press and ensure a smooth transition.

Keith Trzebiatowski, Printing Manager at Glenroy, highlighted the value of the training, stating, “Initially, I was hesitant, but once we were in Germany at W&H and receiving professional training from experts, I realized what a wise investment it was – both in terms of time and money.”

The team underwent a five-day training program in Lengerich, involving classroom sessions and hands-on experience operating the press with expert trainers. Richie Klein, Product Development Engineer at Glenroy, described the experience as “amazing” and emphasized the team’s progress, stating, “First, we learned the basics of operating the press. Then, when we had the opportunity to run the line with automation, one of our team members exclaimed, ‘How can it get even easier?'”

Beyond acquiring new skills, the training experience also fostered team building. By witnessing the investment made by their company in their success and future, the team members felt supported. Klein noted, “They saw that W&H is doing the same, which strengthened our partnership.”

Glenroy’s new 10-color MIRAFLEX II press is expected to be fully operational this summer, marking a significant milestone in the company’s printing capabilities. The comprehensive training in Germany has equipped the Glenroy team with the necessary expertise to maximize the potential of the new press and ensure its successful integration into their operations.
