Hotpack has published its 2025 sustainability report, stating that 96% of its product portfolio has been validated as environmentally friendly and recyclable. Released in Dubai on 15 September 2026, “Our Impact. Our Future” covers the UAE-headquartered packaging manufacturer’s product development, manufacturing, workforce, sourcing, governance and community programmes.
The report records Hotpack’s EcoVadis Gold Medal after an assessment score of 80 out of 100. According to the company, this placed it in the 97th percentile and among the top 5% of companies assessed globally by EcoVadis across environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. “The Sustainability Report 2025 shows the progress we have made in making sustainability an integral part of how Hotpack operates, innovates and grows,” said Abdul Jebbar PB, founder, managing director and group CEO.
Hotpack said its portfolio includes packaging made with recycled-content materials, plant-based substrates and biodegradable plastics, alongside circular design initiatives. Its recycled PET range reportedly provides a 30% to 40% reduction in carbon dioxide emissions compared with virgin PET. The company, which employs more than 4,500 people representing over 33 nationalities, reported zero workplace fatalities in 2025. Employees received an average of 78 training hours during the year.
Hotpack also reported distributing 60,000 Iftar meals and more than 100,000 food packages through Ramadan programmes involving over 200 volunteers and 12 partner organisations. Other activities covered worker welfare, health, mangrove restoration and environmental awareness.
Prepared in accordance with Global Reporting Initiative Standards, the report forms part of Hotpack’s environmental, social and governance reporting across its operations. The company operates 25 manufacturing facilities, has a presence in 17 countries, supplies customers in more than 100 countries and offers over 4,000 products.
