Husky TechnologiesTM, a global technology provider, has successfully installed its first integrated injection molding system for blood collection tube (BCT) production in India. The system is now operational at the facilities of CML Biotech Limited, one of the country’s largest BCT manufacturers.
In response to manufacturing challenges faced by CML Biotech, Husky recommended the ICHORTM injection molding system. Leveraging its expertise in PET technology and SchöttliTM High Precision Medical Molds, Husky’s solution aims to enhance part quality, reduce weight variations, optimize cycle times, and improve overall efficiency in BCT production.
The ICHORTM system marks a significant milestone as the first of its kind in India’s medical injection molding industry. Real-time monitoring of the system will be carried out using Advantage+EliteTM, Husky’s proactive and predictive monitoring solution. This ensures optimal system performance and enables early detection of any potential issues that may impact production.
