IFFCO Group, a multinational manufacturer headquartered in the UAE, has chosen Sidel’s complete PET lines to enhance its condiment production capacity. The installation includes facilities in Al-Ain, UAE, and a new plant in Baghdad, Iraq.

The PET lines offer a reported capacity of up to 9,000 bottles per hour (bph) and provide flexibility to accommodate three bottle designs, two cap options, and three label variations.

The upstream section of the line features the compact blow/fill/cap Combi solution, which incorporates Serac’s precise weight filler. The Combi’s blowing component benefits from preferential heating technology, enabling optimal PET distribution and facilitating the production of flat and shaped containers through asymmetrical stretching.

Down the line, the AQFlex smooth contactless accumulation and conveying system ensures bottle integrity during the transfer from the Combi to the labeler.

For secondary packaging, the Cermex WB46 case packer efficiently squares cases and performs hot melt sealing, even with the challenges posed by shaped bottles within the wrap-around outer packaging.

The end-of-line process is streamlined by the RoboAccess robotic palletizer, which utilizes a gripping tool to handle cases, interlayers, and pallets.

Andrey Dribny, CEO of IFFCO Group Culinary, emphasizes the company’s commitment to sustainability and its vision of incorporating recycled PET (r-PET) in the future. Dribny expresses confidence in Sidel’s technological expertise and support to guide IFFCO Group on its sustainable journey.
