Innovive partners with Attentive Science to expand single-use lab systems in MENA

Single-use recyclable lab containment systems used in controlled research environments

Innovive has announced a regional partnership with Attentive Science to expand the distribution of its laboratory systems across the GCC and wider Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

Under the agreement, Attentive Science will represent and supply Innovive’s product portfolio to research institutions, pharmaceutical companies, and biotechnology laboratories. The focus is on replacing traditional reusable caging systems with single-use alternatives designed for controlled research environments.

Innovive’s systems are manufactured using recyclable plastic materials and are engineered as rigid, closed containment formats that integrate housing, handling, transport, and disposal within a single unit. Typically based on PET structures, the units are supplied ready-to-use and designed for standardised performance across laboratory workflows. The formats are stackable, uniform, and compatible with automated rack and airflow systems, enabling efficient handling within controlled environments.

The systems follow a single-use, recyclable model, eliminating the need for repeated washing and sterilisation. This reduces water, chemical, and energy consumption while supporting predictable material flow and waste handling. The sealed design also helps maintain hygiene, minimise contamination risks, and ensure traceability.

The approach reflects the wider adoption of standardised, recyclable containment formats that combine functionality with defined end-of-life pathways, supported by collection and recycling systems.

The partnership comes as countries across the MENA region continue to invest in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and life sciences research infrastructure, supporting the adoption of efficient and scalable laboratory systems.
