Folding carton specialist installs 7-colour Roland 707 HiPrint
UaeMajan Printing & Packaging Company LLC (Majan) of the United Arab Emirates has celebrated its 20th anniversary even as it increases its production capacity by installing a new seven-color Roland 700 HiPrintsheetfed offset press.
On the company’s 20th anniversary, it has added a seven-colour Roland 707 HiPrint. Majan now operates 13 ManrolandSheetfed presses.
Majan specialises in folding cartons, labels, and leaflets, with folding colour cartons accounting for 90% of its revenue. Apart from the domestic market, Majan also serves customers in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
“With the world’s most advanced printing technologies and the concerted efforts by our 400 dedicated employees, we are committed to deliver high quality products suitable to all sectors in a very short lead time,” said Khalid Abdullah Youssef, CEO and board member.
Majan had invested in Roland presses including the Roland 705LV and Roland 706 3B LTTLV through Dynagraph, ManrolandSheetfed’s sales and service partner in the UAE.
Antoine El Kara, general manager of Dynagraph, said the new press has several features that can “improve performance, drive productivity and help reduce operating costs”.
