Mark Andy is now the first flexo printing machine manufacturer to adopt and receive Esko Full HD Flexo Certification.
Esko specialists checked the quality of several print samples against published Full HD Flexo parameters to assess Mark Andy for the recognition.
The Full HD Certified quality mark demonstrates that Mark Andy equipment produces consistent, high-quality print jobs with sharper images, bright impactful solids, and a wider colour gamut.
Mark Andy’s Performance Series became the first HD certified flexo press line in 2011.
“Mark Andy is very proud to be the first fully certified Full HD Flexo manufacturer,” said Kevin Wilken, president and CEO of Mark Andy.
“We have worked very hard to ensure our customers can rely on us to remain current when it comes to all aspects of the flexo printing workflow. It is important for us to be up to date in the latest prepress and plate making technologies.”
In addition to manufacturing presses, Mark Andy operates a print products division that supplies and distributes Esko technology. Mark Andy Print Products was established mainly to partner with converters to optimise their presses and maximise the quality and consistency of their work, according to the company.
