Mark Andy launches SmartPress program with eight-week press delivery timeline

Mark Andy has introduced its SmartPress Program, offering a range of pre-configured press systems designed to reduce delivery times from 16 weeks to eight weeks. The program is available across the company’s Pro Series, E5 and P7 press platforms and provides configurations tailored for label, film and shrink sleeve production applications.

According to the company, the initiative is based on standardized press configurations developed from its engineering experience and is intended to provide converters with production-ready equipment that can be deployed more quickly.

“Converters are under growing pressure to improve ROI, and every week of delay impacts time-to-production, productivity, and payback,” said Duane Pekar, CEO of Mark Andy. “SmartPress is built on what customers value most: reliable presses printing quality applications productively every day. It lets converters invest with confidence, knowing they’re getting a proven configuration that meets their needs on day one without guessing, overspending, or leaving an ounce of productivity on the table.”

The SmartPress Program organizes press options by application category, enabling converters to select configurations aligned with specific production requirements. Label, Film and Shrink configurations are available across the company’s Performance Series and Evolution Series platforms, while a Label configuration is also offered on the Pro Series.

The program also includes optional equipment packages that can be added according to production needs. Available options include hot air drying, UV curing, sheeting and conveying systems, cold foil capabilities, extended-run features and quick-changeover packages.

Early customers have cited shorter lead times as a factor in purchasing decisions. Lindsey Clark, Marketing Manager at Natural State Label Company, said the company recently ordered another Mark Andy flexographic press.

“The fast production lead time played a major role in helping us move forward quickly, and their team made the entire process simple from quoting to planning,” Clark said.

Mark Andy stated that the production-ready configurations are intended to support installation, operator training and faster commissioning, helping converters begin production sooner after equipment delivery.
