Rockwell Automation continues to support machine builder growth in Türkiye with appointment of Emrah Tekdemir

Emrah Tekdemir named as the new country sales director for Türkiye.

 

Rockwell Automation, Inc. (NYSE: ROK), the world’s largest company dedicated to industrial automation and digital transformation, today announced Emrah Tekdemir has been appointed country sales director for Türkiye.

 

In his new role, Tekdemir will continue to expand Rockwell Automation’s local presence, core business, and help customers accelerate their digital transformation journey to drive sustainability and efficiency outcomes. Emrah succeeds Ediz Eren, who is now regional vice president, Middle East, Türkiye and Africa.

 

“Turkiye has a strong machine builder community and engineering capacity with many system integration and EPC companies,” said Eren. “The trends after the pandemic bring an important opportunity to Turkiye to increase the exports of higher technology machines and engineering services. Emrah will lead our support for this endeavor with our local and global engineering expertise, products, and solutions.”

 

Tekdemir brings more than 30 years of industrial and electrical automation experience. Most recently, he served as country manager for Iraq, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, and Ukraine with Schneider Electric, handling M&A and building winning teams across cultures, countries, and businesses. He holds an MBA in energy management from Vienna University of Economics WU and Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Istanbul Technical University.
