Istanbul-based Sade Ofset Packaging & Label has integrated HEIDELBERG’s Prinect Production workflow platform with its printing operations to improve production planning, registration accuracy and pressroom efficiency. The development was detailed in a company announcement dated 5 October 2026.
The Turkish packaging and label manufacturer, which produces chocolate packaging, wet-glue labels and other packaging products, initially adopted Prinect after facing substantial costs to upgrade its computer-to-plate (CtP) Raster Image Processor.
HEIDELBERG’s subscription model provided an alternative, allowing Sade Ofset to introduce the software while operating presses from other manufacturers.
“At first, moving to Prinect seemed like a straightforward business decision to avoid high upgrade costs. Looking back, I can say that decision became an important strategic turning point for our company,” said Murat Demir, Owner and Managing Partner of Sade Ofset.
The integrated workflow now connects prepress, press operations and production planning, enabling automatic collection of production and quality data. Prinect’s paper stretch compensation has also helped address registration challenges when printing on lightweight substrates ranging from 70 to 80 g/m².
The company subsequently expanded Prinect to include cost analysis and production control. Last year, Sade Ofset replaced two existing presses with a HEIDELBERG Speedmaster CX 104 equipped with inline colour and quality control.
According to HEIDELBERG, the single press now achieves production volumes previously requiring two machines operating double shifts. “Our goal was to bring planning, prepress, and pressroom together in one integrated environment to improve efficiency, scheduling quality, and resource utilization,” Demir said.
Sade Ofset now plans to connect Prinect more closely with its existing management information system (MIS) to further automate production control.
