UAE Economy Minister visits Hotpack’s NIP facility as the company advances global expansion

UAE Minister of Economy and Tourism H.E. Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri visited Hotpack’s manufacturing facility at National Industries Park (NIP), Dubai, where he reviewed the company’s packaging production operations and expansion plans as the manufacturer continues to increase its global footprint.

The visit follows the completion of a minority equity investment by Gulf Islamic Investments (GII), which is expected to support additional manufacturing capacity and international expansion across Hotpack’s packaging business.

During the tour, the minister was briefed on the company’s packaging manufacturing operations, production technologies, sustainability initiatives and export growth. The visit highlighted the role of packaging manufacturers in strengthening the UAE’s industrial base while supporting economic diversification and export-oriented manufacturing.

Addressing the media, H.E. Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri said the UAE remains focused on building a competitive and sustainable industrial economy through stronger public-private collaboration, strategic investments and expanded economic partnerships that enhance the competitiveness of UAE-made products and create new export opportunities in line with the “We the UAE 2031” vision.

Hotpack Founder and Managing Director Abdul Jebbar PB said the minister’s visit recognises the company’s development from a local UAE enterprise into an international packaging manufacturer. He added that the partnership with GII will help expand production capacity, enter additional markets and accelerate the company’s sustainable packaging initiatives.

The visit also underscored the contribution of packaging manufacturing to the UAE’s industrial strategy through investment, exports, supply chain resilience and continued production growth.
