WM Returns to PLAST Milan Exhibition with New Innovations

After a hiatus since the last edition in 2018, WM is making a comeback at the PLAST exhibition, scheduled for September 5-8. The Swiss company will occupy Hall 13, booth C31 to showcase its latest developments and innovations.

The spotlight of the event will be on the evolution of WM’s renowned thermoforming machine, the FC780 E steel rule cutting machine. This cutting-edge machine has undergone a significant transformation, including a redesigned appearance, simplified operating software, and enhancements to its already outstanding performance.

Visitors to the exhibition will notice the machine’s new frame color, the brand’s distinctive deep red, along with an anthracite grey structure. The revamped FC series was first previewed at the K fair in Düsseldorf in October 2022, featuring the FC 1000 IM2, the largest and most versatile machine in the range.

In addition to the aesthetic upgrades, WM will unveil important technical rationalizations implemented in the FC series at the PLAST show. The company will highlight improvements in performance, technology, and recent experiences with different materials.

With the exhibition taking place near Switzerland in Milan, WM will organize a special open house event at its headquarters in Stabio. Registered customers will have the opportunity to tour the factory, witness various models of thermoforming machines in operation, and engage in discussions with WM technicians and experts. Attendees will also have the chance to explore a range of end-of-line automation solutions. WM has established solid partnerships with multiple collaborators to develop integrated automation systems that are increasingly versatile.

PLAST Milan provides WM with a platform to reconnect with the industry, showcase their advancements, and strengthen relationships with customers and partners. The company’s presence at the exhibition and the open house event demonstrates its commitment to delivering innovative solutions in the packaging sector.
