MGI Meteor DP 8700 XL + with Ifoil T on show provides ‘unlimited colour solution’
dubai Ali Alhashemi Trading will showcase at GPP a regional first with an “unlimited colour solution” from France-based MGI, said managing director Mohammed Alhashemi.
“This GPP our product focus of our stand will be Digital Print-n-Finishing & Packaging,” he told Packaging MEA.
“We are bringing the digital printer with foiling hence providing a unlimited colour possibility from MGI – France. Foiling digitally without dies and overprinting on foils with CMYK provides a wide gamut of metallic colours and hologram printing.
“This will be the first machine in this region. Thedigital press is a MGI Meteor DP 8700 XL + with Ifoil T, making it an unlimited colour solution.
The company will also be showing an ORYX-MH Pro 7000 low-investment digitalpress, which Mohammed Alhashemi described as a “value -for-money digital printer with higher mileage and very low per print cost”.
“Besides this, we will have a Xante entry level digital printer with the features of Heavy Weight Champion – Xante HWC up to 500 gsm,” he said. “We will also be showing Xante – Impressia with envelopefeeding solutions.”
The company will also feature a new chemical-free digital film setter for screen printing mesh and block making from Exile, UK.
In digital finishing, Alhashemi Trading is introducing a wide range of digital finishing solutions from Cyklos and a paper-cutting machine system from EBA.
“In the packaging segment, we are bringing a multifunctional folder gluer for short quantity and special applications from APR Solutions, Italy,” he added.
“In the label segment, we are representing DILLI digital label UV presses, although the machine will not be at the stand due to shipment delays but will have the suppliers representative at our stand.
“And also we are scheduled to show small digital labelling with finisher from Afinia Labels, UK, although this also may not arrive by the show.”
