Aptar Closures has introduced the Future Disc Top, the first of three e-commerce-capable disc top dispensing solutions set to launch globally this year. This innovative closure is designed for beauty, personal care, and home care applications, offering full recyclability* and e-commerce suitability.
Future Disc Top features a locking/unlocking ring for secure transit and minimized breakage or leaks, meeting Amazon ISTA-6 standards for safe transport. The closure aims to maintain the expected packaging experience while preventing revenue and reputation loss due to damaged products. It is easy to open and close, catering to consumer convenience.
In terms of sustainability, Future Disc Top is made of 100% polyethylene (PE), a mono-material that is fully recyclable when used with PE and PET bottles. PCR content versions are also available. The closure has received a Class A rating from RecyClass and is certified by Cyclos-HTP for recyclability and product responsibility in Europe.
With a three-piece design, Future Disc Top comes in various colors and fits a 24-410 neck finish, suitable for various formulas and viscosities. It complements the Future Lotion Pump.
