ePS has released CommandCore 2026.2, a platform update for packaging manufacturers covering enterprise resource planning, manufacturing execution systems, production control and scheduling. Announced on 29 June 2026, the update is aimed at helping packaging plants standardise operational knowledge as experienced estimators, planners and operators leave the workforce.
“Packaging manufacturers are facing a real knowledge-transfer challenge,” said Craig Tait, Chief Product Officer at ePS. “CommandCore 2026.2 helps plants capture the expertise of their best people and make it repeatable across the business, from estimating and planning, to production control, and customer commitments.”
Radius Estimating now includes predefined route templates, allowing converters to configure routing logic by work centre, sequence and product type, and apply it consistently across estimates. Paxis ERP, used by label and tag converters, extends AI-enabled dynamic translation across workflows and adds security updates, improved Click Charge management, expanded reporting and additional pricing methods.
For corrugated operations, MES Hub provides browser-based access to orders, line-ups, trim analysis and production KPIs. Trim Advisor Web uses production history to recommend roll widths and material combinations, supported by confidence ratings and cost visibility.
AC4D Packing Station Advanced now integrates with robotic palletising systems, connecting quality control results, quarantine status and routing rules with automated pallet assignment. It also supports real-time transaction processing and automatic pallet label printing.
PrintFlow 4D adds Order Promising, enabling customer-facing teams to simulate prospective orders against the live schedule without changing confirmed production plans. It also introduces task and print-change grouping to support production optimisation.
Radius ERP adds estimate win prediction, customer churn prediction and the Pack AI assistant. Metrics ERP expands workflows for scrap management, fiscal compliance, tax processing, invoicing and banking integration.
