Epson Unveils Range of SurePress Label Presses and Cloud-Enabled ColorWorks Label Printers at Labelexpo 2023

Epson is set to showcase its latest developments in label printing technology at Labelexpo 2023, including the European debut of the SurePress L-4733AW. This new addition to the SurePress label presses represents a significant upgrade from the previous SurePress 4000 series, offering improved quality, consistency, repeatability, and higher-speed print modes. It features Epson’s enhanced AQ4 ink set, which includes CMYK with green, orange, and white inks, enabling a broader color gamut and precise color matching across various substrates.

Additionally, the SurePress L-4733AW incorporates simplified, automated maintenance functions to enhance uptime, reduce operator intervention, and streamline workflows for quicker and more efficient label production.

The Labelexpo event will also feature the SurePress L-6534VW, which supports CMYK and white ink, along with the option for orange ink or in-line digital varnish. This model will be showcased alongside the inline GM DC330 Mini, an all-in-one compact label finisher.

In addition to the SurePress label presses, Epson is introducing its new line of cloud-enabled ColorWorks label printers. This development is the result of Epson’s collaboration with Loftware, a leading provider of cloud-based enterprise labeling and artwork management solutions. The cloud connectivity of these printers opens up new possibilities for streamlined label design, management, and printing, catering to the evolving needs of businesses in various industries.

Epson’s focus on innovation in label printing technology underscores its commitment to meeting the diverse demands of its customers and delivering cutting-edge solutions to enhance productivity and quality in label production.
