In a strategic step towards long-term sustainable production and packaging in Saudi Arabia, IFFCO Group, a multinational FMCG group based in the UAE, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tetra Pak, a global leader in food processing and packaging solutions. This collaboration is part of IFFCO’s strategic plans centered around Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, aimed at integrating global standards in sustainable practices within the group’s manufacturing facilities.
The partnership between IFFCO and Tetra Pak underscores a commitment to implementing state-of-the-art practices and technologies, aligning with global standards to reduce environmental impact. IFFCO is set to expand its operations in Saudi Arabia by establishing a cutting-edge factory equipped with the latest technology to produce sustainable and high-quality culinary creams. The move aims to contribute to the Saudi Arabian economy, reduce waste, lower emissions, and adhere to green industry protocols.
Rizwan Ahmed, Executive Director of IFFCO Group, emphasized the company’s dedication to ESG principles, stating, “IFFCO has, since the very beginning, committed to a mission of manufacturing and marketing a well-integrated portfolio of FMCG food products that satisfy taste, quality, and consumer demand without undermining our ethical values and commitments to eco-awareness.”
The collaboration with Tetra Pak is strategic, focusing on maximizing efficiency without compromising on quality or food safety.
