Kanematsu GmbH has announced the launch of Canon’s new colour label printer models, the LG-P800 and LX-D400, across the European and Middle Eastern markets through its network of distributors and partners. The two models are scheduled to become commercially available from August 2026.
The launch expands Canon’s portfolio of colour label printing equipment available in the two regions and forms part of Kanematsu GmbH’s ongoing activities in the industrial labelling sector.
The LG-P800 is an 8-inch colour label printer designed to support a range of label production requirements. The model incorporates a new pigment ink system and is compatible with a variety of media, allowing users to produce colour labels across different applications.
The LX-D400 is a 4-inch colour label printer with a maximum print speed of up to 330 mm per second. The model includes a 4.3-inch touch panel intended to simplify operation and features an adjustable top-of-form (TOF) sensor designed to accommodate die-cut labels in different shapes.
According to Kanematsu GmbH, the introduction of the two models represents an expansion of its labelling business portfolio. The company said the products will also serve as a next-generation platform, building on the market presence previously established through the Swiftcolor brand.
Distribution of the printers will be supported through Kanematsu GmbH’s existing distributor network and market development activities across Europe and the Middle East.
The announcement provides customers in the two regions with additional colour label printing options for industrial and commercial applications. Availability from August 2026 will enable distributors and channel partners to begin supplying the new Canon models as part of their regional product offerings, further expanding access to colour label printing technology across targeted markets.
